OUR SERVICES

Opportunity to Work as a Part-Time Student

Our disabled students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University can continue their education more comfortably by working as part-time students for a fee if they wish.

Free Meal Opportunity

Our disabled students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University are provided with free food service upon their request. They can benefit from these services in the cafeterias of our academic units.

Health Service

Our disabled students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University can benefit from all the facilities of our university hospital without any disability. For this, all we have to do is apply to the patient registration desks reserved for you in our hospital.

Library Services

The necessary screen reading software and Braille printers were purchased for our disabled students who are studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University to make better use of the library service. Finally, Manisa Celal Bayar University cooperated with Boğaziçi University GETEM, and our visually impaired personnel and students were provided with library services. Our staff and students who want to benefit from the service are required to apply to MCBU Library and Documentation Department and obtain a username and password. GETEM hosts approximately 10 thousand people. Members of the GETEM Internet Library will also be able to benefit from the Phone Library Project free of charge. With the Telephone Library Project, hundreds of audiobooks have started to be offered free of charge to the visually impaired GETEM members over the phone number 0 800 219 91 91. There are currently 100 basic works and 236 works of world classics in the phone library.

Efforts have been made to ensure that our disabled students, who are studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University, can reach all units of our university without any barriers during their studentship.

HOW CAN I BENEFIT

The only thing our disabled students need to do in order to benefit from these services is to contact our representatives below in person, by phone or e-mail. Our barrier-free MCBU officer will assist you. Do not forget that the sole purpose of all these units and officers is to enable you to have a more comfortable education.

Note: After the first enrollment of our disabled students, they are required to submit their disability reports to MCBU Disability Counseling and Coordination Office directly or through the student affairs of the units. After this process, a report showing the disability status for a different service will not be requested from them.
